ANIMAL CARE
The client is a manufacturer of pet accessories.
They turned to us for the purpose of developing a new range of pet grooming products in family feeling, namely a comb and various types of brushes.
Before proceeding with the phase of ideation and aesthetic development, a study was carried out of the industry, aesthetics, and raw materials used by the competitors.
The concepts that were conceived differed in ergonomics, materials used, and usability of the product itself.
On the soft-touch part, we designed a raised pattern for a better grip.
Many brushes require use of both sides.
This resulted in a "reversible" shape with a handle that allows the user to hold the brush for both sides in a practical and efficient way.
Among the various proposals for color combinations, the one that convinced the client the most was the gray-purple combination.
Packaging study and development
In addition to the ergonomic study, ideation, and design of each product, Rend also took care of the display material and packaging.
The client was offered a single reversible display solution that could include both animal categories, cats and dogs.
