Our long-time client, Antonio Carraro, entrusted us with the redesign of the cabin roof for their SRX 5800 model.
The project’s goal was to give the product a more modern and up-to-date aesthetic while creating a family feel with the roof of the recently launched Tony V model.
Design Approach and References
For the development of the new roof, we started with the Star Light model roof, working on a revision of the aesthetic lines.
From the necessary technical dimensions, we developed a design that not only met functional constraints but also reflected the visual identity of the Tony V.
Key Design Elements
The final result stands out for its smooth lines, designed to provide aerodynamics to the roof and reduce the visual impact of the product.
The key areas of the roof include:
- the front section and technical compartment, where we integrated spaces for fans and air intake openings, ensuring excellent airflow management;
- the rear section, designed to accommodate work lights and a skylight, thereby improving upward visibility.
The new design gives the roof a slimmer and more dynamic look, with flatter lines that enhance its aerodynamics and modernity without compromising functionality in terms of ventilation and visibility.
The interior of the roof has also been redesigned with particular attention to the operator’s ergonomics. We optimized the arrangement of internal volumes, creating a more comfortable and functional environment.
