Antonio Carraro, world leading producer of compact tractors for specialized agriculture, entrusted us with an innovative and challenging project: developing the aesthetics of the new Tony 8700 V.
An innovative, yet recognizable, style
Designed for narrow-row vineyards, the Tony 8700 V represents Antonio Carraro's entry into a new market segment.
The challenge consisted in coming up with a design that would stand out against the existing range of tractors but still be recognizable as a product of the historic brand.
Rend put its signature under a new and unconventional design, in line with the client's values and identity.
The elements that referenced Antonio Carraro’s classic style, such as the logo placement on the hood, were combined with new shapes and lines in both the exterior and interior of the vehicle.
Not only aesthetics
Aesthetic innovation did not compromise the versatility, practicality, and precision of the tractor.
The surfaces were meticulously designed to be incorporated into the structural features provided by the client. The external width, starting at 998 mm, makes the Tony 8700 V the most compact conventional-frame tractor with hydrostatic transmission on the market today.
The smaller size of the tractor was achieved without sacrificing practicality, comfort, and performance.
